Did you attend our 2025 Oktoberfest celebration held Sept. 26 to 27 and Oct. 3 to 5? It was a big one!
A lot of planning, care and coordination went into each day of festivities for this annual event, and we couldn’t have done it without the help of hundreds of generous volunteers who assisted with set-up, site build, booth management, cooking, decorating, cleanup and other event support. Additionally, the Oktoberfest Committee and Club manager oversaw the ordering of all supplies to ensure everything was where it needed to be, when it needed to be there. Here are some of the statistics they shared.
- We served over 440 kegs of mostly authentic German beer.
- We ordered 1,950 pounds of Bratwurst, 800 pounds of spicy sausages, 400 pounds of Bavarian meatloaf, and 265 pounds of Frankfurters.
- For the non-meat-lovers, we prepared 90 pounds of vegan Sausages.
- Receipts tell us we served 63 pounds of sauerkraut per hour during peak hours.
- We purchased 1,200 pounds of fresh red cabbage which was later sweetened and cooked in our kitchen.
- Twenty-eight gallons of horseradish adorned eaters’ plates.
- Many said “yes” to sliced European rolls (16,300, to be exact!).
- Potato pancakes are always a fan favorite, and we sold over 4,000 thanks to volunteers who mixed 1,520 pounds of shredded potatoes.
- We sold thousands of raffle tickets for dozens of daily prizes, and one lucky winner won a trip for two to Germany!
Oktoberfest is a labor of love, and one we’ve been proud to host for many decades. Thank you to all who came to the event, who served, who helped, who performed, and who took the opportunity to sign up as new members – welcome! We look forward to seeing you next year.
On that note, mark your calendars for Oktoberfest 2026: Sept. 25 to 27 and Oct. 2 to 4!
